St. Peter's Core Values

In order that everything we do gives glory and honor to God through Jesus Christ we hold to these core values:

• We believe that the Bible is the true word of God and is to be the only standard of truth, instruction and action without compromise for our congregational and personal faith and life.
• We believe that we are called to reach out to people who do not have faith in Jesus Christ and give witness of the certain hope that lies within us, given to us through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, in order that the Holy Spirit may expand the Kingdom of God.
• We believe that God's people need to and will grow in their Christian faith through Christian education and discipleship for all ages by the power of the Holy Spirit.
• We believe that we are to offer a Word and Sacrament Ministry which is used to praise and magnify our great God, Father; Son, and the Holy Spirit through meaningful worship that is traditional and/or contemporary in nature.
• We believe that God's people will connect with one another in the community of believers as well as with others in our community and in the world through the use of our spiritual gifts that results in loving care and service.
• We believe that we have the privilege of praying to God our Father and bringing before Him our needs as well as the needs of others in the name of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.
