Sunday Morning Bible Class

Time: 10:10 - 10:55 (begins Sunday, September 12th)

A 4 week study entitled, "The Bible for Busy People" (DVD), CROSSWAYS author, Dr. Harry Wendt, walks you through the entire Bible following a Biblical time line. Discussion, questions and answers will be led by Pastor David Walker. Class meets in Room 204.

Wednesday Morning Bible Class

Begins September 15. Class meets from 11 to noon in the Lay Ministry Room. Join us for coffee and... at our first session. In addition to studying the appointed Scripture readings for our worship the following Sunday (9/19), we'll be discussing topics to be covered in the coming year. Class leader is Pastor David Walker.

The story of the Bible has been called “The Greatest Story Ever Told.” But did you ever wonder where the Bible came from? Who wrote it? Why did they write it? Who decided which books to include?

Pastor Hudak will be leading this special Bible Study which has been prepared for us by Lutheran Hour Ministries and features Dr. Paul Maier, well known LCMS theologian. A special interactive video guide will be used as Dr. Maier travels to The Bible Museum in Goodyear, Arizona to take a look at How We Got The Bible.

Have you considered “Simply Giving?” Simply Giving is our EFT (electronic fund transfer) system to enable you to make your offerings electronically from your bank account, without envelopes or checks…or hassle! You probably already pay your utility bills and mortgage this way – why not do your offerings the same way? If you like the symbolic act of putting your envelope in the plate, you can still do so (with nothing in it), and just write “Simply Giving” somewhere on the envelope. Pick up an enrollment form at the back counter in the narthex.

A few months ago, we asked our members who where business owners to give us their information so we can compile a directory. With the assistance of Karen Crown, member of St. Peter, it is complete and available for your viewing online or in the church office. Should you need assistance with a lawyer, removal of a pesky critter, or remodeling, our directory has it all. If you are interested in adding your business to the list, just contact the church office and we will be happy to take your information.

Are you planning on having your child baptized? Before having your child baptized here at St. Peter, you get to attend a pre-baptism class! These classes take place the second Saturday of every month from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., led by Pastor David Hudak and DCE, Sherry Bolosan. Please call the Church Office to register.
